G2 Speech customers gain access to Voicepath outsourced transcription service

Voicepath, the UK's leading onshore provider for outsourced legal transcriptions, has signed an agreement with digital dictation systems (DDS) specialist, G2 Speech, sealing a relationship that will give UK users of G2 systems access to Voicepath's service from inside their DDS.

The partnership means that new and existing DDS subscribers with G2 Speech will automatically be installed with software enabling them to outsource document transcription to legally trained secretaries in the UK, via Voicepath, and have accurate transcriptions turned around within an hour.

The 'Voicepath Inside G2' model gives law firms installing the G2 Speech system the option to outsource document transcription, whether as a capacity boosting measure or as an 'overflow' facility for busy periods or to cover holidays and sick leave.

Voicepath general manager, Richard Bate, said: "We are delighted to have concluded this deal with G2 Speech. Increasingly, law firms are recognising that digital dictation is just the beginning of the journey in terms of introducing efficient systems, and that outsourcing transcription is a major way in which they can capitalise on this investment."

G2 Speech customers signing a Transcription Services Agreement with Voicepath before 31 March 2005 will be entitled to £1500 worth of transcription credit, broken down as six monthly £250 transcription vouchers.

Netherlands-headquartered G2 Speech has a rapidly expanding client base in the UK legal sector, following its acquisition of Dictation Direct in London in 2003, and the move of two former directors of ABM to the company earlier this year.
